We have bought and sold many homes over the years and Diana is absolutely the best realtor we have ever worked with! She is super organized and always has everything handled on time every step of the way. Her work ethic is amazing - she is always available no matter what time of the day or night you contact her - does she ever sleep?! Diana went above and beyond all our expectations. For example, we needed to leave for Texas as soon as we could because our furniture was on the way to Texas before we could get our proceeds check. All in all we have had a very unusual and difficult journey on the sale of our home. We are writing to give all kinds of thanks and praise to our agent, Diana Skaff. We had nothing but one problem after another. When Diana said she works for her clients this sale has really put her to the test. There have been problems over land which have taken well over two years to try to settle. The lawyer we had was coming close to getting these resolved when he had a sudden illness and passed away. Diana got to the end of that mess, plus we then had problems regarding a land dispute with our neighbor. We sold our home and picked out our new home. Even had a closing date - when everything went down the drain. We were to close on January 16, 2021, when the neighbor stated we were trying to sell her land (small triangular stip which ran through our front yard). Since the beginning of this sale Diana has worked with our buyer and our seller and was able to keep things going and we are finally ready to move. There is much more but it really gets unbelievable. Anyway we have resolved the issue with the neighbor and that small piece of property is now ours. Diana has and still is keeping things in order and has gone way out of her way to help us through this difficult time. So many people have helped us out and we want to thank your representatives for helping out when called upon. If your realtors are even close to how reliable Diana has been, you have a wonderful group of employees. Diana Skaff has unselfishly and wisely advised us on real estate matters over the years. When it came time for a change of scenery, we casually shopped the housing market and found a house that definitely had our name on it. Who better to call than Diana! This house was some distance from her normal trade area, but that didn’t matter. Within minutes Diana contacted the listing agent and scheduled a walk-through that same evening. We loved the house and there was no need to look any further. The market was very hot, so acting rapidly was important. It was serendipity that Diana Skaff of Hunziker Realty was available to meet with us back in June 2017. We, having recently moved to Ames from north central Illinois, were temporarily renting an apartment through Hunziker Property Management and needed a good realtor to help us find a home to buy. We didn't get a good realtor that fateful day - we got an exceptional realtor! From the beginning, Diana took her time with us to get to know us, to determine our needs and wants for a home, and to help us stay near our price point. Diana was patient as she showed us house after house, gathering information on them, answering our questions, and sharing her vast knowledge of Ames and the surrounding towns. She is professional, yet personable and kind-hearted. She was always available for our texts, calls, and emails. She quickly set up appointments for us to view houses since decent homes in this area can be pending the same day they are listed! I became obsessed with the Realtor.com app on my phone, constantly checking for new listings. Diana had our backs when Hunziker Property Management decided to stop offering their renter buyout program on the apartment complex where we were living. If you're not familiar with this program, it allowed those renting some HPM properties to get out of their rental agreement if they purchased a home from Hunziker Realty. Diana advocated for us, got it in writing, and we ended up not having to pay our last month's rent, less a fee for this program. That loyalty meant so much to us. Eventually, Diana had some procedures and surgeries that she had been putting off. Even though she had support from fellow Hunziker realtors during this time, Diana was still there to communicate with us, show us a house or two (accompanied by her friendly husband), as she persevered through her responsibilities. Diana is the epitome of realty dedication. We finally found the home we were looking for and Diana was with us every step of the way. We viewed the house on a Saturday morning, the second of three showings. That night she called us and the other two parties were also interested so she advised us to act fast if we wanted this house. She met us at her office that night to put in an offer. Do all realtors meet with clients on a Saturday evening to submit offers? Diana Skaff does, and we are so happy and relieved as we were the fortunate ones to get that house. We've been in our home now for about seven months and we have made some updates to make it our own. Diana and Joe recently stopped by to visit and see what we had done, as well as bringing us cookies and cashews!! I would recommend Diana Skaff to anyone who's going to sell their house. Diana listed my home for sale and did a wonderful job selling it for me, considering that I live 100 miles away and she was able hold open houses on several weekends. Diana goes above and beyond to sell your home. My house had some stipulations in the deed and Diana was wonderful at dealing with this to sell my house. I noticed a property for sale in Iowa Falls with your company sign as the realtor. It immediately took me back to January of 2015 when Diana Skaff sold our townhouse in Ames to the first prospect within hours of going on the market. Through all phases, Diana displayed a pleasant, professional demeanor, always prompt, highly knowledgable and offered sound advice on certain repairs that saved us money. I got the feeling, different from experiences with other realtors in the past, commission was the farthest from her mind. The seller was who mattered. As a result, a long list of prospects were lined up and the house sold above the listing price. I worked with Diana Skaff and Hunziker Realty during a very challenging time in my life. I was working through a divorce which lead to delays for me to take action in purchasing a home for my children and I. Diana was very patient with my needs & delays, understanding & empathetic of the difficulty I was going through, and always made time for me & worked around my work/childrens' schedules to help me find a perfect home that fits our needs. Also, Hunziker offers a nice program with many of their rental properties that allows the forgiveness of a rental lease if you purchase a home with them. When we began the home buying process, my wife and I knew very little. Our only knowledge came from family and what is seen on television shows. I had just moved to Ames at the end of October and was kind of looking for a place to live with my fiance in the future. We saw a listing for a house that we both loved, but there was a sale pending. Diana was showing us a different house at the beginning of November and happened to remember Brian (my fiance) asking about the house we currently own. While showing us the other house, she mentioned that this house had just come back on the market that day and she thought we would be excited about it. We were! She was kind enough to take us over there that night and let us have a look around. As we thought, it seemed perfect for the two of us and we decided to try to work out a plan to get the house off the market and make it ours. We have dealt with Mrs. Diana Skaff for 5 months when we started searching for a home. She is very active, respectful and helpful person. First time we met her,it was at Hunziker office on Saturday. She arranged different home showing for us upon request and most of them were on weekends. I remember she arranged for one of these home showing that was on her birthday without getting upset or frustrated. She is a smart and experienced person who understands what a customer exactly looks for. When we found our dream home, she prompted very quick, she arranged for home showing, we made an offer that she conveyed to the seller in a very professional way. When he seller accepted the offer, she helped us to have the home inspected and she made the necessary communication with our lender and home insurance company as well. Diana was great to work with. As first time home buyers, we had no idea what we were getting into. Diana worked with us at every step and clearly explained the entire process. She was accessible at all times and prompt with answering emails. We went to an open house on a Sunday afternoon and loved the house, so we contacted her to get more information about it. Diana responded within an hour and got us a private showing for that afternoon; we went straight to her office afterward and she walked us through writing up our offer, which was accepted that same evening! When I started the house hunting process, I contacted realtors in town and stumbled on Diana. She knows the Iowa market first-hand for many year and addressed all my fears as a home buyer.
